Do brake lights come on when automatic cruise control slows down?

When you set auto cruise control and it reads ahead to slow down do the brake lights come when slowing?

If your car is fitted with automatic cruise control it will automatically adjust the speed to maintain a set distance from the vehicle ahead. It can do this by reducing the accelerator input or applying the brakes, and if the brakes are applied the brake lights will also illuminate automatically.
