Toyota Corolla (2019 on)

Very efficient hybrid hatch with surprisingly upmarket interior. Good to drive, too, while standard equipment levels are generous.

Skoda Octavia (2020 on)

Extremely comfortable with excellent ride quality. Great practicality and a large boot. Even better quality inside than its predecessor. Impressive all-rounder.

Citroen C4 (2021 on)

Quirky alternative to a Ford Focus. Very comfortable car with impressive cabin. Decent value for money.
