What car will give the best MPG on my 60 mile commute?

I drive a 60 mile commute each day and would like a large car to replace my Range Rover Evoque. Can you recommend something that will get me as much MPG as possible please?

Have you looked at our Real MPG section? It lists real world fuel figures for thousands of cars and vans.

The plug-in hybrid BMW X5 if you have somewhere to charge it. Audi Q5 2.0-litre diesel if you don't.
