I want a new car with enough space for young kids. Can you help me choose?

I want a new car but there's so much choice. I need to transport grandchildren and we live in the country so potholes are an everyday problem. I'd like it to be about the same size as my Peugeot 207 SW. Would have liked something sporty/convertible but that's not compatible with grandchildren! I've considered electric but as one lot of grandchildren are150 miles away, I might be better with petrol/hybrid. I have been looking at the Ford Puma but, due to current circumstances, I want to have a fair idea of what I want before I visit a dealer. I hope you might be able to help me.

It sounds like a small crossover SUV like the Ford Puma would suit your needs well. In fact, the Puma would probably be our choice - it's fun to drive, has a versatile interior and represents good value for money. You could also look at the Peugeot 2008 - especially if you like your current car - or Skoda Kamiq.
