Jacks ‘n five

Whether or not Car manufacturers are supplying runflat tyres now, they are still issuing spare wheel equipment that cannot entirely fulfil its function. How are they getting away with this? I have reported the matter to the Dept. of Transport and have received a sympathetic reply. One hopes that it will go further.

I don't understand the nature of your complaint. If a car comes on runflats it does not need equipment to jack it up and remove the wheels. If that equipment is supplied, then it is a bonus because it enables the owner to jack the car up and perform routine brake maintenance jobs.
