Is there anything I should look out for on a used pick-up?

I want to buy a 2011 Toyota Hilux. Is there anything that I should know (like something that I should check that usually breaks down)?

The Toyota Hilux has a strong reputation for reliability. But as with all used vehicles, there are some things you need to check. Key is the cam belt - it should have been changed, along with the water pump. I would also ask when the propshaft couplings were last greased - they are often missed during servicing and can cause a lot of expensive damage if they dry up.
