Can I replace low profile tyres with normal tyres?

I have recently purchased a Skoda Octavia which is fitted with low profile tyres. Can it be fitted with normal tyres? The existing tyres are 225/40 R18

To fit 'normal' tyres you would need to swap the wheels and which wheels you can swap to depend on the size of the front brake discs. If 16-inch will fit, then the tyre would probably be 205/55 R16 and give a much better ride. The TPMS valve sensors will also have to be swapped over to the new wheels.
