I've been quoted for 174/65 R14 tyres, the bloke reckoned that Regal are one of the best budget tyres (of course he does...).
They are 27.50 each inc VAT fitted and balanced. I'm inclined to trust these more than the GoodRider / Matador / TGAR i've been quoted with elsewhere.
At least dunlop acknowledges their existance - www.dunlop.co.za/regal/ unlike some other budget brands.
what do you lot reckon?

They probably have a very hard compound to withstand heat. Not sure about grip in wet/cold conditions...

I really object to the posting by \'Sooty Tailpipes\' That is a completely sick comment - moderator, please do something about it!

Yes, possibly beter than some, but my concern is that they are probably built for a very different market and climate, and may therefore not be ideal in a UK winter.
Are they 'E' marked by the way?

I've seen them - most if not all budget tyre brands are made outside the UK.
I've seen some pretty decent mileages covered on them too.
Buy with confidence.

I have had Goodyear Club tyres for a few years now.
They seem fine for a budget tyre Oh and they too are made in South Africa.
