Should the dealer fix these issues?

I've recently bought a 5 year old Focus from a main Ford dealership. I've been driving it a week and have discovered 3 heating elements in the rear windscreen don't work and a little rattling noise from the front of the car when travelling on the motorway. Do you think it reasonable to take it back for the dealer to remedy these issues?

Entirely. You could not have know of these failures on the date of sale, yet they had to be present on the date of sale so the dealer is legally obliged to fix them. Clegg v Olle Anderson 2003.
