I am thinking of buying a 2006/55 Disco 3 HSE with 80,000 miles on the clock, and full dealer service history. At four years old this is obviously a high mileage. The car has been suitably price adjusted to reflect this. I only do about 5,000 a year. Is this a good buy, as in say 3 years it is back on track for normal mileage? Should I worry about this mileage and what should I look for an abnormally high front loaded mileage.

The Highways Agency has run them up to 160k miles +. I've seen them at auction. And the 2.7 diesel seems to be more reliable fitted with Land Rover's single turbo than with the twin turbos on Jags.
