Chery has revealed details of its new Tiggo 4 CSH, a small full-hybrid SUV that undercuts just about everything else on the market for price.
With a starting price of £19,995, the Chery Tiggo 4 is cheaper than a Dacia Duster (£21,845 for the mild-hybrid model or £25,095 for full hybrid), the MG ZS Hybrid+ (from £22,745) and even the non-hybrid Citroen C3 Aircross, which costs from £21,445.
With a 1.5-litre petrol engine and an electric motor, the Tiggo 4 makes 204PS, which should give it punchy performance. There are two trim levels available, and it has an official WLTP fuel economy of more than 53mpg.
As with all Chery's cars, the Tiggo 4 CSH comes with a seven-year, 100,000-mile warranty.
