Skoda teases the Peaq - a new 7-seat electric SUV
- Upcoming new seven-seat SUV
- Takes ideas from Vision 7S concept into production
- Will be unveiled in the summer
Skoda has announced that its forthcoming new electric seven-seat SUV will be called the Peaq.
The Skoda Peaq will be a production version of the Vision 7S concept car from 2022 (pictured below), and is essentially an electric alternative to the petrol and diesel-powered Skoda Kodiaq.
All we've seen so far is the badge of the production car, but the Vision 7S concept – which heralded Skoda's current "Modern Solid" design language – gives us a pretty good idea of what it could look like.
When released, the Peaq will take on other electric seven-seaters like the Peugeot E-5008 and the Mercedes-Benz GLB. It will be positioned as less of a premium option than the likes of the Hyundai Ioniq 9, the Kia EV9 and Volvo EX90.
2026 Skoda Peaq price and release date

No release date for the Skoda Peaq has yet been announced. We'll see the car in full at a world premiere event in the summer and more details should follow then.
It's likely to be Skoda's most expensive car when fully kitted out. The Kodiaq seven-seater starts at just under £40,000 and the Enyaq just over than mark, so we'd expect the Peaq to cost closer to £50,000.
