Most of the changes for the revised Dacia Spring are under the surface, although there are some interior changes. A seven-inch digital driver display is now standard across the range, a few materials have been upgraded and you can now mount various accessories in the cabin, such as hooks or cupholders, using Dacia's YouClip system.

The Extreme model gets a larger 10.1-inch infotainment screen and you can choose from a new-for-2026 paint colour, too, called Seafoam.

The visual changes to the Sandero range are more obvious, with revised LED lights and different bumpers at the front and back. The Stepway model has body protection panels made from Starkle, a recycled plastic. Inside, all Sandero models also get the YouClip system, an upgraded 10-inch infotainment screen with extra connectivity over the previous model and an available wireless phone charger.

2026 Dacia Spring and Sandero engines, performance and fuel economy

2026 Dacia Sandero

The Dacia Spring gets a new, smaller 24.3kWh battery but maintains its 140-mile range thanks to improved efficiency. There's a new 40kW on-board DC charger that means you can top up the battery from 20% to 80% in 29 minutes, with a suitable fast charger. A wallbox charge at 7.4kW will take 3 hours 20 minutes from 20% to full.

As well as the new battery there's a new 70PS motor on the Expression trim, while the top-spec Extreme model has the more powerful 100PS motor. Both have 137Nm of torque. The lower-power engine will reach 62mph in 12.3 seconds, while the more powerful model will do the same in 9.6 seconds.

All Sandero and Sandero Stepway models use a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder TCe 100 petrol engine that Dacia says is now more responsive. It has 100PS, 200Nm of torque and will hit 62mph in 9.7 seconds with a promised fuel economy up of to 53mpg.
