2023 Abarth 500e prices revealed

Prices for the Abarth 500e have been announced with the all-electric model starting at £34,195 and the Abarth 500e Cabrio priced at £37,195. The higher spec Turismo models carry a £4000 premium.

Ordering is open now and the first cars will be arriving with UK customers this summer. Meanwhile the Abarth 500e Scorpionissima launch edition is no longer available to order due to significant customer demand.

Based on the Fiat 500 Electric, standard Abarth 500e specification includes 17-inch alloy wheels, rear diffuser inserts, matt grey mirror caps, dark ambience pillars and headliner, sport seats with scorpion stripes embossed on fabric, double stitching and a steering wheel wrapped in black vinyl.

There is also a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with a 7-inch TFT cluster with dedicated Abarth graphics, as standard. The new electric Abarth also features Performance Pages, which allow customers to keep track of their performance.

The 500e also comes with the Abarth Sound Generator and JBL Premium Audio System as standard.

The higher spec Abarth 500e Turismo gets 18-inch diamond-cut Titanium Grey alloy wheels, premium Alcantara upholster, an Alcantara and leather steering wheel and an Alcantara embossed dashboard fascia. The sporty seats have an integrated headrest along with double stitching.

Abarth 500e Turismo models also add heated front seats, a wireless charging pad, rearview camera with 360-degree sensors, heated mirrors and windscreen, keyless entry and go, JBL Premium Audio System plus a blind spot warning system. A fixed glass roof is standard on the hatchback version.

All models are equipped with an 85-kW fast-charging system, which can reach 80% of the range in only 35 minutes. Battery range is up to 164 miles (WLTP).

Buyers can choose from five colors for both the 500e and the 500e Turismo: Antidote White, Venom Black, Adrenaline Red, Acid Green and Poison Blue.

Does my Abarth 500 have an alarm?

Having recently bought an Abarth 500, we went on a ferry and I decided to turn off the motion alarm to stop the alarm going off. I could not find any reference to alarms/immobilisors in the handbook. Question is, does it have an alarm? I may have answered the insurance question incorrectly if not.
Owners' forums suggest that is has an immobiliser but not an alarm. To double check, it might be worth ringing Abarth customer service and quoting your VIN number.
