Citroen introduces sportily-styled C1 Furio, priced from £10,855

Published 27 July 2016

Citroen has launched the C1 Furio, which gets sporty exterior styling paired to cheap-to-run, cheap-to-insure engines. Buyers can choose from a 68PS VTi petrol or an 82PS PureTech petrol, with respective prices of £10,855 and £11,205.

The Furio is based on Feel trim but gains 15-inch black alloy wheels with red centres, an exterior graphics pack, a rear diffuser with centre exhaust and red door mirrors. There are two colours - Lipizzan White or Carlnite Grey.

These extras are in addition to the standard equipment on Feel trim, which includes DAB radio, a seven-inch touchscreen, air conditioning, electric windows and a 12V socket.

The C1 isn’t the only Citroen model to have worn the Furio name – the Saxo Furio in the 1990s followed the same formula, with VTS styling and an insurance-friendly engine.
