Goodwood Festival Of Speed 2014: Jenson Button confirmed for Goodwood

Formula One star and 2009 World Champion Jenson Button has confirmed that he will appear at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of speed, taking place June 26-29. Button has more than 250 Grand Prix starts to his name and has driven for Williams, Benetton, Renault, BAR, Honda, Brawn and McLaren.

Button has attended the Festival of Speed 14 times in the past, driving up the hill in a variety of models including the McLaren P1 amd the 1970 Can-Am McLaren M8D. Other F1 stars set to appear at the 2014 include John Surtees and Emerson Fitipaldi.

Jenson Button said: “Goodwood is one of the highlights of my season. I’ve had the chance to get behind the wheel of some incredible historic racing cars there, which I’d never have been able to drive otherwise, and to meet some of the most enthusiastic fans, who have given me a tremendous amount of support over the years. I’m really looking forward to it.”
