hi , any one else had this problem and is it easily fixed without going to a garage?

recently in the cold weather we been having ,the front passenger side electric window has developed a delay. When being used ... press button to wind down and nothing happens for about 30 secs then down it goes but winding up is instant ..just want to know how i access the window motor and what i should look out for

dont really want to take down to renault for them to charge me an arm and a leg as per usaul ..thanks in advance
