ENGINE FAIL DASH DISPLAY ASR FAIL LOOSE CONNECTION

Engine cuts out dash displays asr fail loose connection so far unable to find a cure

It appears that it could be a low voltage battery fault.
New battery fitted and earth wire. only does it from cold start. restart engine it is ok untill next cold start
Seems as though the battery voltage is dropping to low when you start, poor connections or to small a battery perhaps.
