It won't matter how you got it in there, but unless you get the FAP ECU reset you will continue to get the ' low fluid' message on the drivers display.
I found on my C5 when I did the same thing as you have done, that the Eolys continued to be pumped into the diesel even though I had the ' low fluid ' displayed every time the car was started & it continued to function ok for the remaining year I owned it.
