Hi,
My car steams up inside really badly. I thought it would be a leak somewhere but I recently found it to be an air recirculation problem.
I was following an old tractor emitting loads of smoke so I used the recirculation button. The light came on and did its job. When past the tractor, I pressed the button to turn it off and the light went out, as it should. However the car steamed up badly and it has been doing it ever since.
I had an electrician check the wiring of the recirculation button and he said it was alright. So, I imagine that there a mechanism within the ventilation system that is stuck in the closed position.
Am I likely to be right and would it be an expensive business to repair?
