Citroen C3 Picasso - Good car or BAD CAR - sandy56

Is this an astonishly good car? ( as in HJ review) or is it barely adequate transport? Any C3 Picasso owners out there care to comment?

NoC3 owners sandy. We are havingthe C4 Grandpicasso in may a larger car.The C3 looks well designed and a comfortable car.If you are interested in the Citroen I would take it for a drive.Have a look at the seating arrangement and bootspace.Only you can decide if you like the car.No car is perfect, but for the money I don't think you will go far wrong wiith the Citroen.

A colleague had one on lease and whilst it did him for two years he never managed to get over how badly placed the handbrake was. He felt it was too low for the high seating position.

Similar issue with the radio which is mounted below the heater controls and slightly out of comfortable reach for the number of buttons it has.

As with all cars its these nuances that can annoy, but may not be noticed until a few weeks after you take delivery.

My brother has one - 110HDi Exclusive manual (without any fancy wheels), which is probably the model of choice. I wanted one too but I was over-ruled by Mrs BJD as she didn't like the styling and the bright paintwork

The C3 Pic is, in terms of engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, electronics, &c, well proven by Citroën/PSA, so other than the body shell, it's all a bit last year. There's more room in it than first appears, a terrific flat boot floor and lots of lockers and cubby holes.

After some 18 months, there's been no reason to visit the dealer other than for a routine service.

HJ's assessment is very accurate. Go for a test drive.
