2006 titanium x mondeo estate - Reversing sensors, - Nick Bradshaw

Where is the CPU for the reversing sensors on a Mondeo 3 estate? Any offers? It's not in the c-pillars where it should be, and doesn't seem to be inside any of the cladding in the boot. Factory fitted.

Thanks; Behind the glove box I found the speaker, stuck to the top of the fuse box with Velcro. The ECU I found above the panel for the first aid box; and it is fine. Ford tried to charge me £280 for a new one. Diagnostics would have been £45.00 for the first half-hour.

The problem was a bad earth, on one of the sensors. I unplugged it and dried off the contacts, and the reverse sensor works once again.
