Corolla GS 1.4 vvti 2001 - , foglight symbol flickers on dash - lesz421

hello there!


right i have a 2001 y reg GS, 1.4 vvti

while driving at nite with the lights on, the foglight symbol on dash flickers on and off, and sometimes stays on? need to press the switch to turn off, and can come on again?


from what i can see, the relay is in the switch?


just the rear foglight, none in front

Perhaps a new switch might solve your problem.

I doubt if it is a switch fault.Check the operation of all the rear lights.You may find there is an earthing problem causing a back feed to the fog lamp system.hth

the relay seems to be built into the switch, can hear it click

will check earths and so on
