mondeo zetec 2.0 tdci - yellow light on dash board looks like a snow flake - vespajono

could any 1 please help i have just brought a mondeo zetec today and theres a light that looks like a snow flake it glows yellow but later on it turned red i do not have the owners manual so am puzzled and to be honest a little worried so would really appriciate some 1 helping me out thank you for your time and look forward to some 1 easing my mind

Low outside temperature warning.Yellow is below 5 degrees and red is zero or less.hth

It is a warning for low temp. outside. Beware of icy conditions, black ice etc.

I concur: I drove a Ford Focus Diesel from Anglesey to Shropshire yesterday and the dashboard 'snowflake' kept changing from yellow to red as the outside temp changed. Very useful.
