Ford Fiesta - Noise from seat belt area - paul97

Hi

I've had my 2009 Fiesta for about 7 weeks now and there is a noise coming from the seat belt housing area that sounds like thin metal vibrating against each other. I have spoken to a few people at work who have Fiesta/Focus and a few have said they have the same problem.

Can anyone please offer any help or advice.

Have you tried applying lubricant to the where the seat belt bolt joins the fixing ? If that gets rid of the noise you'll know the source of the problem.

Will take a look at that, someone did say to put silicone spray round the rubber door seal as they said it could be the rubber sticking and causing the noise, did out some rubber conditioner on the seal but didn't solve the problem.
