Volkswagen Caravelle 1994/95 Auto gearbox - Staring problem; intermittent failure to restart, - Karatha

Starts ok when cold but intermittent problem when restarting - sometimes no response when turning ignition key. Rocking the vehicle in park or drive sometimes seems to solve the problem but there seems to be no obvious reason for this to work on an auto gearbox. Other times leaving it for a short period and its ok again.
