Mk6 golf GT 2.0 tsi 160bhp - Details on golf engine - RS1
Can any tell me why this engine appears at several dealers but isn't listed on this website and doesn't feature in vw brochure 2009 when the cars seem to be that reg? . If you put it into google only the 1.4tsi 160 comes up.
What's the mpg? Etc , if anyone has one

It's neither of these as they are the 210ps engine from the gti and are the only one listed, which is my point. The engine I am interested in is only fitted to the GT and it seem's in 2009

The dealer has got it wrong unless its an import to a unknown UK spec.

Agree with thunderbird, the only 160 (158bhp) VW/Audi engines I know are the 1.8 TSi in the A4/A3 and the supercharged/turbocharged 1.4 TSi like in the Scirocco. The only other 2.0 GT was an older model with the 150 FSi engine, non turbo.

Just checked, there are no 2.0 TSis with 160bhp on the Austrian official VW used car website either, I would expect all the same cars to be available her as in Germany. Either it's a 1.4TSi with 160hp, or it's a 2.0 with a different power output.
