VW - MOT tests - VOSA Vehicle Specific Instructions. - 659FBE

When having a vehicle tested recently, I observed that the tester had a print giving vehicle specific check points.

Such a list would be of great value when evaluating a used car and yet I cannot find it anywhere on the VOSA website. As we have all paid for the information given on this database, it should be readily available to all.

Does anyone know how this information may be accessed?

I thought it was only the emissions test for which there was a database of vehicle specifics. As it turned out, most manufacturers did not have problems meeting the generic spark ignition MOT test requirements so the database is seldom looked up.

No, I submitted a Passat B5.5 clone (not my Superb) for testing and the sheet on which the tester recorded the braking performance and other comments was pre-printed with instructions to check the front suspension ball joints (a common weakness on this chassis) and a few other things.

I would dearly like to get my hands on the database which produced this information.

Why not ask the tester were he got it from or is it one they have made themselves to make live a little easier.
