Almera 1.4 Action - Changing the Cambelt or Chain?? - sueQ

Have a 1997 'R' Nissan Almera 1.4 Action, it is just coming up to 50,000 miles on the clock, does it have a Cam belt or a Chain? and when would it need changing?

Can anyone tell me if it has a chain or belt???, if not where can I find out, I do not have the manual.

Chain - Just change the oil every 6/9000 miles ( 10-40 semi synthetic)

Great engines on these cars better than the one that replaced it.

Chain SHOULD last the lifetime of the car
