Bugatti Type 51 'master forgery' fetches £250,000 - Collos25

The car was examined by David Sewell, a Bugatti expert, who decided it was a replica made using a mixture of genuine and reproduction parts, including some from the Czaykowski vehicle.

Not quite a forgery the count had numerous spares enough to keep his car going in the event of failure of a part and I believe rebuilt his car on numerous occassions.Having said that 250k for a old banger is rather a lot of money in my book there is not such a thing as a good old car just old cars made to look good.Pile of useless metal when its brought down to reality.
