Saw an advertising hoarding for the new Range Rover today. Features an original Range Rover nose to nose with the new one. The original is dwarfed by the new version, but it is amazing how 'clean and simple' the original design looks. Then again the 1st generation did come out 42 years ago.
Couldn't agree more. The dimensions of the Evoque are very similar to the original RR. Sadly, the same cannot be said for the aesthetics. Butch vulgarity at its very worst.
The police up here in Lancs have got an Evoque - black paint, blacked out windows, full set of flashing lights inside the grille. Seems a bit ridiculous. They usually use BMW 3-series to do stealth speeder catching.
