Hi, I own a '97 Micra with 116k on the clock. Last week the pin holding the clutch cable snapped. The garage replaced that (and the water pump that was also leaking). Now the gears are intermittently sticking / refusing to going into the lower gears or move out of reverse. Some times it works perfectly, other times it refuses.

The bite point on the clutch is now at a different point than it used to be , and feels a lot lighter / more cushioned than it used to be. (not sure if that is just due to new cable though).


Any ideas? Is the clutch also likely to be knackered, or is it just an adjustment that the garage need to make?
