I`ve recently noticed this rubbing-grinding noise coming from underneath the front of the car. It is only noticable at very low speed and more so when turning and when the car is slowing down from a higher speed. I thought that it might be a worn driveshaft joint or bearing so I had the car in with the dealer today. After examining the car they told me that the brake pads had a bit of a glaze on them and so they removed them, buffed them and refitted them. These pads were changed about 3500 miles ago both front and rear at 65000 miles and at the time (2 months ago) I was told the discs were in good condition. After leaving the dealer I noticed this noise has started again although it`s not as bad as it was. Anyone got any idea what this problem might be?
