Given my Mazda's age is now coming to 10 years (although has a very low mileage for the age) I thought it's about time to stop using main dealers (especially as my local one has recently shut) and look for a good idependent.

I have looked through checkatrade.com and found these people, http://www.allhourcars.co.uk/ahc_services.html (http://www.checkatrade.com/AllHourCarHire). This seems to be a car hire family business who also do servicing/repair/MOT etc and located near Epsom, Surrey. They seem to get loads of good feedback, not just in checkatrade, but also in yell.co.uk and some other places.

However, they are not VAT registered (does it matter?), and not a limited company either. It seems they run the place from their home. Also, I could not find them in any of the MOT directories, but then even the Mazda dealer I used to go to did MOTs at a garage next door.

They are not a member of any association either.

Basically, I wonder if any fellow backroom members used them? Do you reckon I should give them a try?

In any case, any particular recommendations on Mazda servicing in SW London?
