Many years ago accessory shops used to sell self adhesive sun strips for the tops of screens, designed to 'upgrade' a non top tint cheaply.
Don't know if these are still available, but might be worth a tenner or whatever one costs to try, with a bit of luck it will cut the problem down to an acceptable level.
Alternatively, and probably a better solution, i'm sure a window tinting outfit could do the same job leaving it looking like OE, maybe double thickness in the affected spots?.
Its incredible isn't it how really important things, like is and dash reflections on really expensive cars get overlooked whilst £millions is spent apparently perfecting frivolous electronic rubbish.
