Hi

I bought a Car from the GMC about 3 Months ago. Im wondering why the Police are involved as I've not heard anything about the Company going Bust or anything ?

Had a look at the Google thing
Common knowledge in Glasgow that the Place was run by gangsters .
same goes for a lot of Private Car Hire firms in Glasgow. Seems it's always been that way up here. Not had any problems with the car I bought, it was a Vaauxhall Corsa 05 Plate not much of a Luxury Car . Though they did have quite a few BMWs and Mercs in their when I was buying.

I bought a car from GMC and it was a pile of scrap. I tried to get my money back-failed- James and his wife went and enjoyed a holiday with! It was a total nightmare to get them to fix the car, he even had the balls to say I was harrassing him!! they kept the car until 3 month warranty was up.If i was to write down everything that happened it would turn into a novel. I lost money and alot of sleep over this and by the looks of it he is still up to his old tricks. Stay clear is my only advise.

I may be wrong (it has occasionally happened) but this complex is the result of an old established trader semi-retiring and instead of running the site, rented out space (the complex is deceptively large) to a number of traders, good and bad. While Jimmy Doyle is a chancer of the highest order, just because GMC (now folded) had the biggest sign, they didn't even rent the whole place. A few break away and start-up traders have got caught up in this mire.
