Think yourself lucky, most towns only have one ring road.

Remember comrade, all are equal but some are more equal than others.

No Zil limo's cruising down the lanes though complete with armed motorcycle outriders?, will commissars and apparatchiks feel grand enough i wonder....will the proletariat be ordered to remove their caps and bow to the high and mighty as they sweep by.

These things are going to be a damn nuisance over the summer in London. Over the weekend the west side of Russell Square has been populated with portakabins. Apparently it's going to be an athletes and/or media bus station.

Some sympathy with guys laying the Olympic logo. They're a sort of stencil and need carefully aligning and some of the 'chads' picking out before applying heat. Too easy to tear or ripple doing it single handed.

I know this one .... as I am one of the Olympic Games Maker volunteers and this is where I will be 'volunteering'. Pleased to hear the site is being installed - I will get to see it very soon!

Look on the bright side! With dedicated lanes you can inconvenience the apparatchiks with a few caltrops without that nagging fear of "collateral damage". ;-)

Or copy the behaviour of our local thugs who think they are "hard". Walk into the road

s l o w l y and force the limos to brake. Of course they might just run you over Mugabe-style....

Now that is unfair on the driver of the car .... many of whom I understand will be unpaid volunteers like myself......
