When you say 'right hand sensor' , there are two right sensors, front & back.

The ABS ECU tests each sensor every time you switch on the ignition looking for the resistance of the sensor coil.

You need to find the conexion diagram for yor cars ABS connector & test the two wires that go to each sensor. Should see about 1000ohms between the two wires & infinity ( 1 on your LCD test meter ) between each wire & chassis earth. If you don't see this you will have to test again where each wheel sensor connects to the car loom.

it is front right hand sensor then opcom says left hand front

It might be that both front sensors are failing.

Everytime you turn the steering or hit a bump the sensor cables get twisted & bent. Eventually the wires start to break inside the sheath & become intermittent. As soon as the ABS detects a break it switches off & brings up a fault light. When you switch the ignition on the next time, the wires will possibly have continuity again for a while until the next bump/turn.
