F1 drivers! - lewis hamilton - oldroverboy

Lewis Hamilton says he is leaving "boring switzerland" to move to monaco, but when I lived there and we had several celebrity clients with jaguars and range rovers, plus diplomats, they all appreciated that we left them alone if we saw them in the Garage or the shops or wherever. Whats up lewis, not enough people grovelling at your feet? (light heartedly said)

when i lived there I paid local taxes at 23% on my salary, better than here, but little lewis will only pay a token amount as a "deal"

In monaco he will pay nothing at all!

Swiss taxes for ordinary swiss residents are generally lower than here, but "celebrities" can pay a fixed rate!

I agree with the sentiment that those who earn money here should pay tax on it here. Go to the usa and see if you can get away without paying taxes, they pay wherever they live in the world.

Yes well America is a stupid country so we can ignore them. I dont expect people who dont live in the UK to pay UK taxes because they dont use the services which UK taxation pays for. If i moved abroad i would not expect to be paying tax to a country where i dont live. Technically who is Hamilton's employer? He'll be set up as a sole enterprise and paying lower taxes that way surely or something to that effect.
