Nissan Juke - New car for £150? - Craigdm

Had a call yesterday from the dealer that sold me my Juke last year. 'Apparently' Nissan don't have enough second hand Jukes to sell, so they are offering select customers a New 12 Plate like-for-like model for £150. Same monthly payment, same bubble.

I couldn't see the catch, so ordered mine (in a different colour) over the phone. Sure there must be a catch, but I can't see it yet (ho ho ho...'it's a Juke'). They were even prepared to ignore the fact that I've done 13.5K miles in the past 11 months, when my PCP deal was for 10K/annum.

Hyundai had to do this with the i10, my mrs got a year of driving and a new car 12 months later for £350 !

No catch at all, pay the £350 and Hyundai transferred the remaining finance over to the new car on same terms.

My Ford dealer did this in the past;offered my a new Escort hatch for my existing hatch-the downside was it was a 1.6 petrol to replace my 1.8 TCI-the upside was cashback to me and lower payments and a new car to replace a six-month old one.I paused long enough to enquire what colours were available-two days later,I was in the new one.

This is the same thought process by the delaer that got me a new Octavia for 80 pounds less (oops, no pound signs on this South African computer!). They make more money on used cars than on new ones, so they need more newish used cars of their 'own' make for their forecourt.

Win-win: no catch for you the customer. Enjoy, provided of course that you want another Juke.
