The above car has been diagnosed with a failed diesel fuel pump @ 90k. Does anyone know the approximate cost of repair and how much needs replacing? I have read that the injectors may well also need replacing due to metal being released when the pump failed and that this, along with the fuel pump, will make it an expensive job.

I am unsure whether it is economical to go about repairing the car, which is otherwise in very good condition. Having said that the clutch master cyclinder is also leaking hydraulic fluid into the driver footwell. I understand reconditioned fuel pumps are avilable that are cheaper but am weary they'll be more big bills just over the horizon.

I assume the vehicle has minimal trade in/scrap value as a non runner.
