Which isn't difficult.... I agree, it looks nice. It'll have to have one or more USPs to sell here, which the MG6 sadly lacks. It's too late now for the MG brand to mean anything much.

I'm not convinced. There is nothing particularly appealing about them in the face of the competition. The only way MG could have prospered would be if, like the Mini, they were a sub brand of a quality company like BMW.

Now if the Chinese could make me a nice new MGB, TR5 or 6, or even an Austin Healy 3000 at sensible prices they would have my immediate attention!

I believe a specialist company are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the MGB with a MGB 50LE. Only the shape and bodyshell are original, the rest being 21st century mechanicals. Alas, the price will NOT be competitive!
