The VW Up. I do feel sorry for the Seat and Skoda versions. Maybe they can all win!

NB Its only the What Car? Car of the year. Oh, well at least the Evoque can still win the other one. :)

I did read something a while back that said Audis (all kinds) and BMWs (3s and 5s) are the models stolen most often. MG should relax a little ;-)

Also, nobody listens to car alarms. Immobiliser - yes ok. Alarm? Pointless.

Along with steering wheel locks! They take less long to jemmy open than it takes to find the ignition on a saab.

I think a lot of old British leyland cars had built in immobilisers, they would never start even for the owner!

I think a lot of old bl cars had built i immobilisers....

over my 35 years of car ownership and an awful lot of bl/rover/mg rovers minis metros marinas 45's 75's 25 mgzt, 820, 827 vitesse, maxi , I had one breakdown in those cars, the ignition pack failed on a ................ honda engined 216... the maxi used to eat wheel bearings but the rest were just average.
