I see from the tv ads that renault are about to launch a full range of electric cars. Well as a previous renault owner, I would say that mechanically they're pretty strong (turbo diesels excepted) but, and its a big but, electrics wise they're hopeless. How are they going to make a quantum leap from a company which can't even make an electric window go up and down reliably, to a manufacturer of full electric cars? Are they having a laugh- I don't think you'll be if you buy one!
