Retro fit Electric Windows - franknburger
Hi there, can anybody suggest a reasonably priced DIY kit to adapt wind down windows to electric?

If you are fitting them to a car where some models, but not yours, had electric windows originally, then it might be better to get all the bits from a scrap car. That way you know they fit, the mounting brackets, holes, relays etc will all be there, and you can check in the manual for the wiring details.

I'm sure I've seen DIY kits at Lucas Stockists.

I should imagine some other auto electric factors could sort you out.

I Think Cliff's advice is probably best. If you can find the same model with a higher spec in a scrap yard, just nick them from it. Also any subsequent replacements will be more straight forward as well.

Whilst you're at it why not pinch the central locking system from the same car if yours hasn't got that as well.
