Heavy steering
I take it this doesn't have electric PAS. If not the first thing to check is the fluid level, if that's OK check the pump drive belt is not slipping.
If you've got fluid and the drivebelt is okay but still heavy steering.. try revving the engine up whilst stationary and seeing if it helps lighten the steering at all.. you can get free advice if you ring the steering specialists on 0208 853 3343
