You can buy made up black mesh uv car window shades - I want to source the mesh material they use. The companies who make fitted shades don't sell mesh off the roll direct to the public .

Any sort of fabric will do - the glass itself will filter out UV.

If you want to stop the car getting hot, then you need something with a reflective coating to cut down the amount of infra-red getting through.
