Hi,
As a Qualified car and truck technician of many years I can tell you that the only way to learn about repairing trucks is 'get your hands dirty'. No amount of book reading will give you the experience of taking it apart and putting it back together again. My 4 year apprenticeship was one of constant tutoring by my trainer who I thank from the bottom of my heart. You also have to have a mechanical 'aptitude'. The ability to fix things. For example - the petrol mower breaks.....can you diagnose and fix it?. Diesel cars are a good start as the principal for the engine is the same as a truck.
I don't know of any truck repair tutorials....unless someone on here knows better.
Good ludk.
