Trade Auction - LBuyer

I thought I would share my recent experience with other motor traders. Being a buyer for a group, myself and my colleagues are finding it increasily tough to find quality nearly new vehicles for decent trade prices. We have recently come across a 'hidden gem' - Paragon Remarketing Services - they only sell online to the Motor Trade, which is refreshing change and they offer reasonable fees & delivery charges. With previous dissapointing buys from some of the well known larger auction companies - together with high fees and hidden charges, I am convinced smaller vehicle auction houses are stepping up their game.

Hi,
Presuming this is what it appears to be, and it's not an add for paragon.

If that's so, you're partly right ,paragon offer innovative options such as fixed ,lower costs on delivery and commission fees, that's good.

However they offer relatively few vehicles ,most of their sales are for 30 /40 cars.
In addition their cars are typically one and two years old ,presumably ex daily rental and motability ,great for main dealers or car supermarkets .

Not much use to an independent dealer like me ,I need cars in good condition that are between 3 and 7 years old .not easy cars to find at a price that will allow me a profit.

On that theme I wonder if any auction /disposal company has ever tried to move older cars on to the trade after they have been renovated ,MOT,d etc .

Would it be viable and cheaper , for cars to be sorted to retail ready condition in bulk. Then be offered at auction .?

That could encourage more dealers to buy from auction .For me ,at present, there are to many problems in buying from auctions for them to be a proposition .
