I am trying to locate a cylinder head for the above as the current one is cracked.

I can obtain a complete replacement (made in China though) which I would rather avoid and another supplier has now asked me if the valve stems are 7mm or 8mm diameter as two heads were fitted to this model which are not interchangeable.Strangely the supplier offering the replacement from China did not even ask me this question ,so I am confused.

Before I ring the local VW agent (not looking forward to it though!) can anyone offer any help .

I would love to hear of any recommended suppliers, especially in the North West.
